Events for Future is an educational course on sustainable event management organized by IBB "Johannes Rau" Minsk and IBB Dortmund in cooperation with the Center for Environmental Solutions. The course was held from October 2020 to February 2021 in the Blended Learning format (blended learning) and included 7 online modules with test tasks, 5 face-to-face seminars (one-day and two-day) that were held in Minsk, Gomel and Brest.
The participants of the course got acquainted with various approaches to sustainable event management, successful Belarusian and international practices in the field of sustainable event management and put the acquired knowledge into practice. The training included practical knowledge in the field of sustainable events and event management, ready-made checklists for organizing events on the principles of sustainability, the opportunity to put the acquired knowledge into practice thanks to practical tasks, recommendations and feedback from course experts.
