Circular economy: conceptual approaches and tools for their implementation
The monograph presents the theoretical foundations of the circular economy concept: its basic principles and forms of their implementation, socio-economic and environmental benefits, the role of the state in shaping the framework conditions and requirements for its development. The experience of the countries of the European Union, in particular Germany, in planning and managing the processes of circular transformation is widely presented. Special attention is paid to the study of the prerequisites and conditions for the transition to a circular economy in Belarus, as well as to the study of the possibilities of implementing its principles in some areas, in particular, in the field of packaging.

Green Transformation and Circular Economy: Pathways to Sustainable Textile Consumption and Production in Belarus
The review was prepared by the Center for Environmental Solutions and HEJ-Support in 2021 as part of the project “Capacity Building for the Development of a Circular Economy in the Regions of Belarus”. The project was implemented by the Dortmund International Education Center together with the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy with the support of the Regional Foundation for Administrative Reforms in the Eastern Partnership Countries on behalf of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). As the authors note, the materials can help everyone interested in developing strategies for the transition to sustainable production and the development of a circular economy in the textile and clothing industries of the Republic of Belarus.

Strategic SWOT analysis of the current situation in Belarus in terms of transition to a circular economy
The purpose of the analysis was to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the current situation in terms of the transition to a circular economy, as well as to identify the chances and risks of a circular economy. The SWOT analysis consisted of an assessment of the available information, followed by interviews with experts in July-August 2019, and thirdly, specific starting points for the instrumental dossier were identified at the round table.

Guidance on sustainable organization of events to promote the principles of the Circular Economy
The guide is one of the products of the project “Capacity Building for Circular Economy Development in the Regions of Belarus”. The guide was developed by the experts of the Center for Environmental Solutions and includes many useful recommendations for event organizers, such as: how to choose a venue that is sustainable, organize transport and meals for participants in an environmentally, socially and economically responsible way, how to reduce the use of paper and plastic in a sustainable event, how to properly communicate to attendees and stakeholders that your event is sustainable.
