Sociological study "Needs, interests and quality of life of the elderly and older people (55+) in Belarus"

The study was carried out by the Research Institute of Labor of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection together with the Center for System Business Technologies SATIO with the assistance of the Belarus Support Program. From June to September 2019, 1,200 people took part in the study.

Dementia as a New Social Challenge: A Guide for Managers and Professionals

The manual presents models of providing social services to people with cognitive impairments and dementia and their families, tested by public associations of Belarus in 2018 within the framework of projects funded with the support of the FSP, as well as the results of research on the topic of dementia, conducted by the institution "Research Institute Labor of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus” in 2016–2017. The manual also includes articles by Belarusian and Russian authors covering the solution of problems in the field of dementia at the international level, as well as issues of protecting the rights of people with cognitive impairments, identifying their needs and opportunities, creating effective communication models and creating a friendly environment.
