Sustainability Education Platform ibb-edu. org, based on the distance learning system "Moodle", is an offerIBB Minsk< /span> and IBB Dortmund. It was developed jointly with the Center for Environmental Solutions (Minsk) and first implemented as part of the Events for Future project in 2020, with the support of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The platform serves to support educational processes on sustainable development and is aimed at all persons interested in this subject. In this way, we want to contribute to the achievement of the goals of the new UNESCO program "Education for Sustainable Development: Towards achieving the SDGs" (Education for Sustainable Development: Towards achieving the SDGs - ESD 2030).
The learning materials, courses and forums on this platform are for educational purposes only. There are currently two courses available on the platform: "Sustainable Event Management" and "Fundamentals of the Circular Economy". Educational modules include a description of the learning objectives, course lectures (texts, images, videos, self-reflection questions, etc.), as well as recommended materials on the topic of each module to deepen knowledge and monitor the success of training. Two more courses are under development: on sustainability in the hospitality and catering industry, and on sustainability reporting.
