Are you a youth worker, a social entrepreneur, entrepreneurship enabler, youth organisation’s leader or expert interested in establishing contacts with social innovators from Belgium? Do you have outreach to a younger audience, capable of spreading the knowledge you will receive and would like to promote social entrepreneurship (SE) in your country? Are you younger than 35 years old? You have good communication and interpersonal skills and know how to turn contact-making into cooperation opportunities. Then we invite you to take part in the study trip to Belgium that will take place on May 11-17, 2025.
The study visit is part of the co-funded by the European Union project “GreenHouse for Social Innovators” that is coordinated by gGmbH IBB in Dortmund (Germany), the Georgian Heritage Crafts Association (GHCA), and a non-profit organisation and social enterprise ‘Ukraine without Waste’
During the visit you will be able to learn about Belgian Social Economy, have the chance to establish contacts with representatives of 10 Belgian social enterprises using circular economy models and not only, meet young social innovators from Eastern Partnership countries who succeeded through our mentorship programme and explore the SE enabling system in Belgium as well as get acquainted with the country along an intensive study tour.
Conditions:
The organisers will cover your travel expenses including flights, accommodation while in Belgium and meals.
Living conditions – two people per room (bed and breakfast type of venue).
The language of the study visit is English.
Please note, that since the project is run under the EU4Youth programme, we can only accept the participants younger than 35 years. Applications from participants older than this age will be automatically rejected.

The project aims to foster active participation of youth in the labour markets and social economy of the Eastern Partnership countries and contribute to sustainable and smart growth, social cohesion and reduction of inequalities in the EaP societies.
The specific objective of the project is to strengthen local young social entrepreneurs' and trainers’ communities in EaP via launching and running an Acceleration programme with a special focus on sustainable green and digital social business models and international exchange.
